  Pastor Poju was reading out a scripture this morning and I saw/heard something that rearranged my theology... Many of us use this scripture when we set goals and visions.. “Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it." Habakkuk 2:2 NKJV And so we think up these things, write it down and start going after it with reckless abandon.. In the process, we hit roadblocks, have collisions that make us cry, and then come back to God wondering where we got it wrong... We say  " But we wrote the vision..We made it plain, we showed people and together we chased its fulfilment " Well, bro/sis, you're missing a vital component... and honestly until early this year, I'd not seen it either and I've been doing this "execute your vision" thing for many years now...   I was reading scripture one time and I happened upon that verse that said... "Prove me therefore" I stopped and thoroughly thought about it... "Wait, Lord...you actually want us to prove that your word works??" That's quite interesting.. " Not too far off, I came upon another scripture that said... "Come let us reason together.." Almost let out a big Hallelujah shout... 😂 Like  "wait...Big G! We should reason together? Like bring my strong points and questions and have us hash it out? Really??? Wawu!!" The Holy Spirit reminded me of Jesus at age 12 reasoning with the scribes and Pharisees at the Temple and the Berean Christians who were applauded for their diligence in searching to see that what Paul taught them was true... He also reminded me of the verse that says.. "Test all Spirits" "All is All", He said... "I'm a Spirit. I'm included in that..so go ahead and prove me" Oh boy!! Prove. Test. Fa...

 Pastor Poju said "As first born, you must bear on your back the scars from your siblings and family members" This is so true.. And it isn't limited to just biological first horns.. Every organization, or group, whether group of friends or business partners has a first born...that one person who breaks out first, the trailblazer who shows the others the path... Almost always, they're the proverbial rejected stone..they're the lab rats, experimental guinea pigs, the ones who have a foretaste of what is to come.. Even in families, the biological first born might not be the positional first born.. Sometimes they intertwine and integrate in one person, but sometimes the 3rd born child might be the first born. It's an office one occupies - and one of the criteria is being able to bear the weight of criticism. Usually, there's this force, something unseen, a fire on the inside that forces them to take contrarian paths, that pushes them constantly beyond the boun...

 Fight for your friends. And whenever possible Fight with them. When I say "fight with friends", I don't mean join them to needlessly and baselessly fight other people... I, as a rule, don't inherit enemies. So the fact that you dislike someone doesn't mean I must dislike the person just because you & I are friends.. There are other things beside human interaction drama. You can fight with your friends against sicknesses, grief, failed attempts, business troubles and so much more... There's another part of "fighting with your friends" that is usually overlooked and rarely talked about. Tell your friends the Truth! And if a fight breaks out because of it, so be it. Don't agree with them to their doom.. Bring their biases to the fore and force them to do better... Obviously, how you go about it is important... But do it. To that end, I have experienced a lot... People have left me, hurt me, slandered my character, defamed my good name, set out ...
